Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, it brings me great joy to welcome you to Gen Academy — a school built not just for academic success, but for purpose, identity, and the spiritual growth of our youth.

For many years, I’ve worked closely with young Muslims — in schools, masjids, and through social media — and I’ve witnessed the same concern arise over and over again: How can we give our children a strong Islamic foundation while preparing them for success in a rapidly changing world?

That question is what led to the founding of Gen Academy.

We created Gen Academy to bridge a widening gap. On one side, students are expected to master technology, adapt to new learning models, and compete in a fast-paced academic environment. On the other, they are struggling to stay connected to their deen, their identity, and a community that supports their moral development. Too often, our youth are forced to choose between academic opportunity and spiritual safety.

At Gen Academy, there is no need to choose.

Our school is Ministry-accredited and offers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) — one of the most globally recognized diplomas. But we go further by weaving Islamic values into everything we do: how we teach, how we support our students, and how we help them navigate the digital world with adab, ihsan, and integrity.

We’ve also embraced the power of technology. From our AI-powered learning assistant to our future-ready courses in artificial intelligence, coding, and digital ethics, we are preparing students to lead in the future — not just survive it.

But this school is not just about academics or tech. It’s about creating a safe space for Muslim students — where their faith is respected, their questions are welcomed, and their potential is fully nurtured.

My vision for Gen Academy is simple, yet powerful:
To raise a generation of confident, competent, and conscious Muslim youth who are grounded in their faith and equipped to thrive in the world.

Whether your child is in Grade 9 or nearing graduation, I invite you to become part of this journey with us. May Allah bless your family with beneficial knowledge, sincere intentions, and a future filled with light.

Wasalamu Alaikum,
Shaikh Rasool
