As Co-Founder Director of AI at Gen Academy, Jamal Hossain leads the development and integration of advanced artificial intelligence tools to enhance the student learning experience. With a strong background in AI systems, machine learning, and educational technology, Jamal brings both technical expertise and a deep understanding of how AI can empower students, not replace them.
He is the architect behind Gen Academy’s 24/7 AI Tutor, ensuring it supports academic integrity, promotes real learning, and adapts to each student’s individual needs. Jamal also oversees the design of Gen Academy’s AI and technology enrichment courses, preparing students with the future-ready skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing digital world.
His work reflects Gen Academy’s commitment to using technology ethically, intelligently, and in alignment with Islamic values.
Dr. Amer Alabed holds a Ph.D. in Education and brings a distinguished track record of local and global experience in teaching, curriculum design, and educational leadership. With a strong background in both in-person and online learning, he has worked with high school students as an educator, mentor, and academic leader across diverse educational settings.
As Principal of GEN Academy, Dr. Amer is dedicated to shaping a dynamic and future-focused learning environment—one that empowers students, supports educators, and gives parents the confidence that their learners are receiving a world-class educational experience.
Aisha is a dedicated mental health professional with over ten years of experience supporting individuals and communities through counseling and therapeutic services. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and brings a diverse skill set as an Expressive Therapeutic Art Practitioner, Mindfulness Meditation Coach, and Mental Health School Counselor. Aisha is also an Equine Assisted Coach as she has a great immense love and passion for working with horses.
Currently working with students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 and Adults. Aisha integrates traditional counseling methods with a holistic, client-centered approach. Her practice draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Expressive Therapeutic Art, Child and Play Therapy, Walk and Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and group therapy. She also facilitates workshops designed to foster emotional wellness and resilience.
Aisha is committed to culturally responsive care, recognizing and honoring the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual she supports. She brings a global perspective to her work, having traveled to over 40 countries, and communicates fluently in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. Her approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s journey toward healing and personal growth.
