What is the OSSD & Why Does It Matter?
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is one of the most recognized and respected high school diplomasin the world. It’s accepted by:
- All Canadian colleges and universities
- U.S. and international post-secondary institutions
- Employers and professional programs globally
To earn your OSSD, you must complete:
- 30 credits (18 compulsory + 12 electives)
- 40 hours of community involvement
- The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Requirement

Are You Joining from Outside Ontario or Canada?
No problem — our full-time program is open to students across Canada and around the world.
If you’re transferring from another province or country, we can evaluate your prior learning through PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition). This allows us to:
- Assess your completed coursework
- Determine equivalent Ontario credits
- Help you graduate faster by recognizing your previous academic experience
We will work with you to create a personalized graduation plan, whether you’re starting fresh or transferring mid-way.
