Description

This course explores issues and challenges facing the Canadian economy as well as the implications of various responses to them. Students will explore the economic role of the individual, including the impact of their own choices as consumers, workers, and citizens. Students will apply the concepts of economic thinking and the economic inquiry process, as well as economic models and theories, to investigate, and develop informed opinions about, economic issues and develop appropriate responses to them. Prerequisite: Canadian History since World War I, Grade 10, Academic or Applied (CHC2D or CHC2P)
